“Coming Home” ShabbatonBy Emily Hummel
A day of learning, prayer and community for adults. Through text, ritual, discussion, and prayer, we will explore how we experience home and how we can grow our Jewish understanding and practice of home. We will begin the morning by baking challah, before entering together into a Shabbat morning worship experience. Following services, we will gather together for lunch and fulfilling learning experiences. Later that afternoon, we will gather for the traditional s’udah shlishit (the third meal, a light snack in the afternoon) and the opportunity to conclude our shabbaton together.
