It was just two years ago that Rabbi Holzman asked NVHC members to complete a volunteer questionnaire. Those responses formed the base that NVHC Cares used to recruit its first volunteers. Our volunteers have continued to grow as members who see first-hand how important it is for our congregation to support its members during periods of illness and bereavement, and other personal difficulties. Our members are resourceful and dedicated, willing to do a myriad of tasks to support other congregants. In recent months we helped a member living alone recuperate from a difficult surgery and assisted a young family dealing with a complex illness with an unexpected move. Our members make NVHC a caring congregation. If you are ready to provide a helping hand, join NVHC Cares!
