Welcome the end of each week with song, reflection, and community in a warm, welcome environment. Shabbat services at NVHC are filled with inspirational music, thought-provoking sermons, and even some time for sharing personal milestones among service attendees.

FRIDAY NIGHT SERVICES

Friday evening is your chance to disconnect from the outside world, join with family and friends, and welcome Shabbat! Our Erev Shabbat services are joyful, warm, and welcoming, meant to touch both mind and heart. Our variety of worship experiences provide different ways to engage in the power of prayer and the potential of Jewish spirituality to reach our souls and change our lives.

Erev Shabbat services begin at 7:00 pm every Friday.

SATURDAY MORNING SERVICES

Shabbat Sustenance

We will begin our Shabbat morning experience every Saturday at 9:00 am, when we will enter into soul-filled sustenance, which may include mindful experiences of Torah study, prayer, meditation, or yoga. We hope you will join us on this nourishing Shabbat morning journey! Previous Torah study or Hebrew fluency is not required. Our community celebrates B’nai Mitzvah and other life cycle events, when scheduled, following Shabbat Sustenance. Please check our calendar for those dates.

TOT SHABBAT

Nothing will warm your heart faster than seeing our very smallest members running to the sanctuary on Shabbat!  Held on the first Saturday of most months, Tot Shabbat gives our children and their parents the space and time to truly experience the joy of Shabbat.
