DESCRIPTION:**While NVHC’s building is closed\, this hangout will take place online. Please see your daily email or email info@nvhcreston.org for more information.** \nBeginning in September\, we invite all of our punims (ages 0 to 5) and their caretaker(s) to join us on select Sundays for a little recreation\, light nosh\, some music\, and a lot of “get to know you” time! Led by Michelle Allo\, the group meets in the Adult Lounge from 9:45 am-11:15 am on scheduled Sundays: \nPunims is $200 for the entire year per child. SUMMARY:Sisterhood Goes to the Theatre – Love Sick
DESCRIPTION:Join Sisterhood for lunch and a matinee play at Theatre J.\n  \nFrom an extraordinary collaboration of international artists comes Love Sick\, the critically-acclaimed new musical that fuses a thrilling original score\, Middle-Eastern harmonics\, dazzling choreography\, and an inspired story of passion and awakening. Based on the Song of Songs\, Love Sick tells the story a young wife in a lifeless marriage who discovers she has a secret admirer. Intrigued\, she begins a mysterious and dizzying journey of sexual and personal empowerment. \n\n \nWe plan to have brunch beforehand near the theater for those who are interested. Closer to the event date\, we will organize carpools or arrange to travel by Metro together.\n  \n\nTickets -$41.00 if purchased through Sisterhood as a group of 10+; $55.00 if purchased individually. \n\n \nIn order to get reduced-price tickets as a group\, Gail needs an RSVP by July 14. DESCRIPTION:CURE participants will share about a recent trip in which they visited several significant sites of racial history and violence around Virginia in Charlottesville\, Danville\, and Richmond. CURE is an interfaith\, multi-racial group of clergy who are working together towards racial reconciliation. \nThis presentation will take place at Floris United Methodist church\, 13600 Frying Pan Road\, Herndon\, VA.
