DESCRIPTION:**While NVHC’s building is closed\, all programs will take place online. Please see your daily email or email info@nvhcreston.org for more information.** \nWe are all deeply aware of the passage of each day at this time\, as we are confining ourselves to our homes for health and safety.  And we are likely counting the days until we can emerge into a healthy world. Judaism has a built-in practice of counting at this time of year. This period is called the Omer\, marking the journey from Pesach to Shavuot\, from the emergence from slavery to a moment of freedom and communal responsibility. We are going to practice this counting each day together\, these 49 days\, so that together we might cultivate mindfulness and meaning in the completeness of each and every day. \nWe will mark and count the Omer together with a 5-7 minute virtual gathering beginning on Thursday April 9th at 6:00 pm. \nOur counting will continue nightly at 6:00 pm\, with the exceptions of Shabbat evening (Friday) and Havdalah (Saturday) when we will incorporate the counting into our worship experiences. \nWatch our daily email for the link.

Please see your daily email or email info@nvhcreston.org for more information.** \nJoin us for an evening of music\, conversation\, study\, and stories to commemorate our Exodus from Egypt and liberation at the shore of the Sea of Reeds. This lay-led seder includes a catered dinner\, wine\, and all of the Pesach ritual foods. Menu will be announced closer to the time.
