SUMMARY:Creating Meaningful Rituals for Unique Life Moments
DESCRIPTION:Creating Meaningful Rituals for Unique Life Moments\nTaught by: Rabbi Holzman\, Cantor Caro\, and Rabbi Barrett\nTuesdays\, October 17\, December 5\, January 23\, March 26\, April 9\n6:30-8:00pm\, in person and online \nSacred moments are not just the ones designated by calendar and community. We know\nthat there are many unique moments in our lives\, moments of transformation that with\nritual would be grounded in greater meaning for ourselves. Whether it is the moment one\ngets a drivers’ license\, heads off to college\, begins a new job\, recovers from an illness\,\nsurvives after a divorce\, retires from a long career\, among so many of life’s milestones\,\nfinding and creating ways to celebrate\, observe\, and commemorate these signposts of\nlife brings them into focus and helps us to be fully present to the lows and highs of our\nlives. \nEach session will focus on a different set of milestones\, exploring what might already be\ncontained in Judaism as well as thinking about ways to develop rituals that would\nelevate those moments for us. \nRegistration is required – click here to register!
