What could be better? Well\, maybe the oneg! \nEach service is followed by a delicious nut-free oneg (personal snacks are allowed but they must be nut free) and a fun activity! Paint your own mezuzah; build an edible sukkah of pretzels\, fruit\, and marshmallows; or decorate your own tzedakah box – the fun is endless! \nWhile Tot Shabbatot (plural for Shabbat) are designed for toddlers and preschoolers\, the whole family is invited to attend. SUMMARY:Introduction to Judaism
DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Judaism is a class for anyone interested in learning more about Judaism – interfaith couples\, those raising Jewish children\, spiritual seekers\, individuals considering conversion\, and Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience. Taught by all three NVHC clergy\, this weekly cohort-based class gives a broad overview of Jewish life – holidays\, theology\, the Torah and other texts\, history\, antisemitism\, life cycle celebrations\, Israel\, and Jewish culture.
