Based on the feedback from those two sessions\, we are happy to announce round two! \nOn Sunday\, March 7 at 7:00 pm we will host “Genealogy as a DNA Tool\,” during which we will hear from members of NVHC about how DNA tracing tools\, such as 23 and Me\, and genealogy can inform each other and help us uncover more of our family history. \nThis event will be followed on Thursday\, March 11 at 7:00 pm by “You Have Developed a Family History – Now What?” Two members of NVHC will talk about the research they’ve done into their family histories\, and then we will hear from guest speaker Sarah Wexler of the Genealogy Society of Greater Washington about her work in the field. \nWe hope to see you at one or both of these great events!

She previously worked at Blue Ridge Hospice for 15 years and served as the Vice President of Clinical Services\, overseeing social work\, bereavement\, music therapy and chaplain programs. For the past 6 years she has been in the role of Adult Mental Health Program Manager at Northwestern Community Services.
