We will explore Responsa (Jewish legal questions and answers) that respond to these challenges: Does Jewish law require people to be vaccinated? Does a Zoom Shofar blowing fulfill the mitzvah of hearing the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah? How should a hospital determine who gets treated first if available treatments are limited? We will look at these and other pandemic-related questions.

DESCRIPTION:NVHC’s Early Childhood Committee invites our families with preschool-aged children to sign up for a safely distanced outdoor celebration of Israel’s Independence Day! Wear your best blue and white to honor Israel’s colors as we make a fun craft. We’ll have stories and songs for the holiday\, and then march in a festive parking lot parade featuring Israeli music. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!\n\nWe can have a maximum of 20 people at this event\, so be sure to sign up in advance! Each child must be accompanied by a parent (1:1 ratio).
