DESCRIPTION:Taught by Neta Litvin\nWednesdays\, 12 weeks\, beginning September 30\n7:00-8:00pm\nOnline Only \nThis course is designed for adult learners who are ready to take their Hebrew to a higher level of fluency\, accuracy\, and independence. Using Brandeis Modern Hebrew ~ Hebrew in Context as our core textbook\, students continue working with the same rich themes and language structures explored previously\, while engaging with the material in greater depth. \nThe Brandeis approach emphasizes using Hebrew across all four skills: speaking\, listening\, reading\, and writing\, and places language within meaningful contexts. Units are organized around specific themes and incorporate authentic texts\, real-life language\, and elements of Israeli and Jewish culture. \nAt the Advanced level\, students build on their existing knowledge to expand vocabulary\, refine grammar\, work with more complex sentence structures and verb forms\, and express themselves with greater precision and confidence. We also spend more time engaging with longer and more challenging texts\, discussion\, and communication in Hebrew. \nLearning continues beyond the textbook through fun and interactive games\, and additional custom-made materials created specifically to support our students. These resources provide opportunities for continued practice\, review\, and deeper engagement with the language beyond the classroom. \nThis course is ideal for learners who want to continue challenging themselves in Hebrew\, strengthen their ability to communicate naturally\, and explore the language and culture at a deeper level.
