Join us to welcome in Shabbat with our adult volunteer choir, Kol Shirah! This Shabbat is also our second Pulpit and the Pew, an experiment that encourages a multi-directional relationship between the sermon from the pulpit and the congregants hearing the sermon.
During this service, our clergy will address climate change, and then after the oneg, congregants are invited to return to the sanctuary for a conversation about the sermon and climate change.
We are talking about climate change as part of an initiative by FACS (Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions) and other faith-based organizations to, along with other clergy around the region, address caring for the planet and climate change as part of their sermons and other learning programs this weekend.
