Middlescence

noun
1. The period in a person’s life between the ages of about 40 and 60; the middle-age period of life, especially when considered a difficult time of self-doubt and readjustment.

Many of us have reached this stage in life when our kids have left home in search of their own independence or remain at home, eating our groceries, while still out and about making their own lives. After years of catering to the offspring, it’s our turn to find our own rhythm with fun, exploration, and socializing.

Let’s do it as a team! Wineries, breweries, hikes, dinners, coffees, game playing, theater – the sky’s the limit because we don’t have to be home for the babysitter.

We are envisioning an outing every quarter or so, where we can engage and play like the old folks that we are not!

Everyone is welcome; no need to stay within specific age parameters. If you have kids, don’t have kids, kids are adults or adult kids want to come with their adult parents, the more the merrier.

FIRST OUTING:

Sunday October 22, 1:30pm

Stone Tower Winery (19925 Hogback Mountain Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175)

Have a sip, a glass, or a flight. They don’t allow picnics, but they have plenty of food to order. Bring some fun board games and we can play as we chat and sip!
