Introduction to the Mishnah: Explore this foundational text of Jewish law and ethics, compiled by the earliest rabbis in the 2nd century. A work of clear, concise Hebrew, the Mishnah translates the general laws of the Torah into specific rules for Jewish practice (we will study in English). Game night is open to everyone, whether you’re a casual board gamer, serious hobbyist, or just want to hang out with your NVHC friends. We’ll have plenty of games and snacks, but please feel free to bring your own! |
