“Jews Who Made US Military History”
Michael Rugel is the Programs and Content Coordinator at the National Museum of American Jewish Military History. A leading expert on Jews in the US military, he is author of “The American Serviceman Finding and (Re)creating Jewish Community during World War II,” and “Echoes of the Maccabees: Restoring the Temple after WWII.” Rugel appeared in the PBS documentary GI Jews: Jewish Americans in World War II.
