Our Queer Torah Study group is currently following along with Torah Queeries, studying the weekly parasha through a queer lens. Join us each Tuesday for connection and insightful conversation!

Qeshet Shabbat Dinner

Celebrate Shabbat and Pride month with Qeshet at NVHC! We’ll join together in a delicious meal at 5:45pm and then celebrate Shabbat at Erev Shabbat services. Over dinner, we will share stories of pride and love, and celebrate our identities.

Qeshet is a community for LGBTQIA+ Jews and their allies at NVHC, grounded in our shared tradition and history. Just as the rainbow, or qeshet in Hebrew, was a sign of God’s covenant with all of our people, so is it a sign of the great diversity of experience that we live as Jews.

This dinner is graciously sponsored by Ed and Sandee Byrne.
