Shabbat Yom Hodu Shabbat dedicated to our NVHC youth community and the exploration of the value of gratitude. This year we have a great deal to be thankful for, even as we struggle to adjust to our current reality. The idea of gratitude is, perhaps, more important that ever before as we recognize the multitudes of people who are helping to keep us healthy, safe, fed and educated.

This year, our program will be led and facilitated by expert Jewish educator and artist – Adina Polen. Together, with her help, we will explore the idea of giving thanks for the people, and places, in our lives. Each participant will engage in an art project that can be used as a Thanksgiving or Shabbat centerpiece. This is a program that is accessible for people of all ages. We will be providing the art materials in a kit that can be picked up the week leading up to Shabbat Yom Hodu. Please email emily@nvhcreston.org for more information.

While we can’t be physically together, we will still be able to be together online to celebrate all that we have to be grateful for in our lives.
