Amir Tibon is the Washington correspondent for Haaretz newspaper. His writing on Israel an the Middle East has been published in The Atlantic, Foreign Affairs, the New Yorker, and Politico Magazine. He has reported from conflict zones in Syria, Ukraine, and southern Turkey.
