Book Club – Online

**While NVHC’s building is closed, Book Club will take place online. Please see your daily email or email info@nvhcreston.org for more information.**
Book Club is a group of diverse individuals that meets the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. to discuss their latest fascinating read. Join them every month, or only once in a while– all that we ask is that you love to read and are willing to have a good conversation! Click here to view the book selection for 2020.

Tot Shabbat

Nothing is more heartwarming than the sight of the youngest members of our community running to the Sanctuary for Shabbat! Tot Shabbat affords our children and their families the time and space to truly experience the joys of Shabbat. Songs, stories, plenty of active participation, an Ark overflowing with plush stuffed Torahs, and a child-friendly d’var Torah (lesson). What could be better?

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; there is no dress code, and there is no shushing if your little one can’t sit still (they are free to move around!) The service is followed by a delicious child-friendly, nut free oneg!

While Tot Shabbatot (plural for Shabbat) are designed for toddlers and preschoolers, the whole family is invited to attend. Personal snacks must be nut-free and we ask that no food is eaten during the service in the sanctuary.
